History of Institution

This technical school was established by the effort of Mr. Robert Le Foll through local NGO (Panauti Meaux Brie Nepal France Association) in 1993. Mr. Le Foll was the first President of the France-Nepal Brie Panauti Association. A language teacher by profession, Mr. Le Foll later joined politics and became Mayor of the Meaux city and member of parliament in France for 20 years. During his tenure as the Mayor and member of parliament, Mr. Le Foll collected great support to build a technical school in Panauti, Nepal in order to conduct technical and vocational training similar to France.

The first training program was started in the year 1999. Initially, the whole operation cost was borne by the French NGO “France- Nepal Brie Panauti Association” with the active initiation of French Member of Parliament Mr. Robert Le Foll (at that period he was elected a member of the parliament).

All infrastructures of the technical school were handed over to the CTEVT in Bhadra of 2003 and since the year 2003/2004, all the operating cost has been borne by the CTEVT.
